Jan has been involved in the development and marketing of computer assisted surgery since 1998, when he joined a small medical company to develop a mini-robotic application for knee-surgery. Later he has served as the Director Navigation within Smith+Nephew before founding Medivation in 2009.
Jan is also the CEO and board member of Naviswiss AG, a Swiss Startup company in the field of computer assisted Orthopedic hip and knee navigation. Jan graduated in engineering and computer science at the university of applied sciences in Brugg, Switzerland and has an executive MBA from the Private University for Economics in Zurich.
Tobias has been involved in the development and surgical application of computer-assisted orthopedic surgery since 2003 before co-founding Medivation in 2009.
Tobias holds a master degree in computer science from the ETH Zurich and has extensive knowledge in medical imaging and tracking technologies.
Adrian has been involved in the development and production of computer-assisted surgery since 1999 and holds a computer science degree from the university of applied sciences in Brugg. In 2009 he co-founded Medivation and since then is involved in medical software and system engineering. In addition he is responsible for production oriented tasks such as small batch series after market release.
Dr. Geert Peersman is a world-class Orthopedic knee surgeon from Belgium and is involved in computer-assisted surgeries and new orthopedic technologies. He is involved in various projects and gives valuable strategic guidance.
Prof. Dr. Peter Ritschl has been the inventor and clinical partner for a world-wide distributed computer-assisted surgery system. He guides Medivation in strategic decisions and is a valuable partner in various projects.
Dr. Hagen Hommel has been involved in the development of various robotic assisted technologies. He is a highly respected expert in the field of patient specific cut blocks and is our clinical development partner for various new projects.
